Technology Transfer
The "Textile Machine Development Transfer Unit" that is integrated into our institution is responsible for the know-how transfer of our research results into practice.
The assistance of small and medium-sized companies (SME), in particular companies of the textile machine construction sector and the textile industry, by targeted research transfer is the most important task of this transfer unit. The focus is on the transfer of own know-how into practice. In addition, the dissemination of external know-how and consulting services are offered.
To achieve these objectives, the institution supports the organisation of specialist conferences like the Chemnitzer Textiltechnik-Tagung.
The research results are presented to a wide audience at relevent trade fairs like ITMA, Techtextil, JEC and IMB as well as at other special events.
Just as important are publications on completed research projects in the specialised press.
On the completed projects, Technology Transfer Offers are available. Interested parties can have produced samples according to their own requirements.
