The modern drive technology is characterised by an intensified growing together of electrical and mechanical components to drive systems.
For all kinds of drives the use of compact power electronics, innovative motor concepts, optimised mechanical components as well as state-of-the-art measurement and sensor technology makes it possible to achieve the required characteristics. The necessary interdisciplinary approach of electrical and mechanical engineering in planning, designing, starting up and operating these systems can be realised in our research facility. The aim is to develop and project respectively customer-oriented, energy-efficient solutions.
