The focus is on the development and marketing of a system solution for recycling thermoplastics using hydrogen-based selective hydrogenation. We conduct research into forward-looking lightweight structures and innovative plastics processing technologies. The focus is on functionally integrated fibre composite and hybrid structures, resource-efficient production processes and the use of renewable raw materials and recyclates. Through close cooperation with industrial partners, we ensure the transfer into practice – for sustainable applications in mobility, energy and the circular economy.

The innovation cluster connects business and science, promotes the transfer of know-how, innovation and technology, and supports the development of circular products and processes. The aim is to establish cross-sector cooperation for a sustainable circular economy.
