From 4 to 6 March 2025, Cetex will be presenting itself together with the Institute for Lightweight Structures at the Chemnitz University of Technology, the STFI, Fraunhofer IWU and Schmietex at the JEC World in Paris. At the joint Saxon stand (Hall 5, Stand D 97), we will be presenting innovative solutions in the fields of multifunctional textile lightweight construction and textile recycling, among others. The focus is on practical industrial co-operations that support sustainable and resource-efficient manufacturing processes.

The focus of the presentation at the Saxon joint stand in Hall 5, Stand D79 will be on successful industrial collaborations in the field of fibre-reinforced plastic composite (FRP) applications.

Continuous production of continuous fibre-reinforced semi-finished products is a key success factor for establishing fibre-plastic composite (FRP) applications, as it minimises downtimes and process costs. In cooperation with Heberlein AG, based in Wattwil/CH (Hall 12.0B11), Cetex has developed and manufactured an innovative system.

The Cetex Institut gGmbH, the thermoPre ENGINEERING GmbH and The FilamentFactory GmbH cooperate in the development, production and marketing of novel hybrid materials. The cooperation agreement signed on October 2, 2020 in Chemnitz takes the collaboration to a new level.

With effect from January 1st, 2018, Sebastian Nendel, previously Managing Director Research and Development, took over the operational business of the Cetex Institute as Managing Director. Mr. Hans-Jürgen Heinrich resigns from the management after 27 years, but will continue to be at the institute's disposal for technical tasks with his many years of experience. Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Prof. h. c. Dr. h. c. Prof. Lothar Kroll remains director of the institute.
