Organic Sheet Production on CCM Molding Systems
The countinous compression molding (CCM) system can be used to process thermoplastic materials in the form of endless webs or as prefabricated layered fabrics in a discontinuous manufacturing process to produce high-quality organic sheets. The system is primarily intended for joining several layers together, but can also be used to consolidate individual layers.
Research Focus:
- Production of organic sheets
- Processing of pre-impregnated fabric webs or stackings
- Impregnation of textile webs or stacking (such as nonwovens, scrims, fabrics, etc.)
- Processing of core materials (foam core, honeycomb core, etc.)
